The All India Jewellers and Goldsmith Federation (AIJGF) is the largest national umbrella body of associations and unions of jewellers and goldsmiths in India. Boasting the widest network of industry professionals across the country, AIJGF serves as the premier facilitator, supporter, and the loudest voice for the Indian jewelry trade.
Our Genesis
Established in 2014, AIJGF was born out of the constant efforts of renowned industry leaders—including Shri Pankaj Arora, Shri Nitin Kedia, Shri Sushil Kumar Jain, Shri Manindra Soni, Shri Sagar Kesarwani, and Shri Pramod Sharma—alongside thousands of dedicated traders.
Founded under the motivation and guidance of the National President Shri B C Bhartia Ji and Shri Praveen Khandelwal Ji National Secretary General of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT)—the topmost trader body in India—AIJGF was formerly known as the ‘CAIT Jewellers Wing’. Today, it stands independently as one of the most respected and trusted trading communities in the nation.
The Need for the Federation
In recent years, the Indian jewelry trading community has frequently faced challenges ranging from false claims of corruption to rumors of scams targeting small and medium businesses.
Comprehending the urgent need for an unbiased, neutral, and sturdy organization to stand against these odds, AIJGF was created to protect the rights of jewellers, goldsmiths, and traders. We act as a definitive shield for our community, protecting members from unlawful action, harassment, false allegations, and misconduct by police personnel or executive agencies.

We play a pivotal role in interacting with the Union Government of India and various State Governments. We advocate for friendlier policies that promote ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and act as an official conciliator to resolve legal and business disputes with government departments.
2. Empowering MSMEs & Financial Aid
We closely knit micro, small, medium, and large enterprises together. By pursuing supportive policies, we help our members avail maximum benefits from the Ministry of MSME schemes and have taken proactive initiatives to help small goldsmiths secure Mudra Loans at the lowest interest rates.
3. Infrastructure & Innovation (Jewellery Parks)
AIJGF is actively building a chain of state-of-the-art Jewellery Parks across various cities in India with government affiliation, successfully securing crucial tax benefits for our community similar to other major industries.
4. Skill Development & Awareness
We regularly conduct workshops, training programs, and awareness seminars to update members on new laws and policies. We invest heavily in training institutes to raise manufacturing skills, technical capabilities, and design excellence, helping our members compete in the global market.
